CircuitCity.com has the Philips DVP3140 DVD/DivX Player on sale for $36.99 is this a good deal? I've been waiting for a good DivX player to come on sale.

Indeed a good deal. I can't see any reputed store selling it for any less. DVP3140 usually retails for $50+. Make sure to read all the reviews though, because many people seemed to have had issues with the player.
