x264 720p-1080p - How to do sample?

Hi friends

I would like to do a sample of my first x264 720p ripped from bluray

everything was fine, I watch it perfectly, release is with MKV + AC3 (one audio)... so really easy.

I tried some programs but I don't understund how to do it.

I teried VDM, it start with parsing, I stopped after 10 minutes when it was at 100% looping timecode...

Could you suggest me way and programs to prepare sample of x264 + aac/ac3/dts one or more audio???

use mmg.exe in the mkvtoolnix package.

load your file up. hit the global tab. then tick 'enable splitting' and enter 50M. finally, hit the start button.

i don't have any line in wich to put SIZE????

What version do you have? In mkvmerge 2.2.0 in the global tab it's the "... after this size:" in splitting area.
