All,

Ive encountered an issue with 2 separate HD-DVD's that I'm hoping to get some assistance with. For both Goodfellas and the Matrix, the muxed results are extremely jittery .ts files.

I'm demuxing both movies with EVODemux to VC-1 and Eac3, using the "continue with 2nd .evo" setting under options, and have tried setting the video output to both .vc1 or .mpa, to see if either setting had an affect.

Demuxed video plays fine, but when muxed with the audio (coverted to AC3 with eac3to) i get jittery and unwatchable results. It almost looks like theres just a ton of dropped frames, although the audio is still synced up fine through the entire movie.

FYI, im muxing with the newest version tsmuxer, keeping the settings to 24000/1001.

Also, both of these movies seem to have PEVOB.evo as the feature files...i have no idea if that has anything to do with this.

Can anyone tell me how to mux the audio and video into something watchable, or tell me what im doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Any ideas?

try using eac3to on the evo files directly to mkv using the strip pulldown option... then mkv into tsmuxer with audio file should do the trick....

Thanks Woah, I'm currently wasting my life away at work, but will try this when i get home in about 6 hours. Do you have any idea why this occurs and/or what the cause is? Just for my own knowledge.

Thanks again.

no sorry i dont really have an answer as to why, but i havent had that issue here with any of the matrix's 3 films. it is possible you have a bad file from when it was pulled off the disc. maybe re-rip the files again as this can happen.

Muxing to Blu-Ray with TSmuxer and then creating an image with imgburn solved the issue completely.
