I have been trying to convert Lucky # Slevin from HD-DVD to Blu-ray, but have run into some problems with the video stream.
I used AnyDVD to rip. I used eac3to to demux the video and audio streams. That gives me an eac3 and h264 file. I then use eac3to to convert the eac3 to ac3. The h264 file plays fine in PowerDVD as is, but it is not compliant and I cannot use it in Scenarist. So, I use H264info alpha 22 to convert it to a compliant video stream.
When I go through and create a Blu-ray disc with these files in Scenarist, the resulting muxed stream doesn't play on my PC or on my blu-ray player. So, I went back and tried to play the converted demuxed video stream output by h264info. It does not play smoothly in PowerDVD (very jerky video) so I suspect that h264info is not doing its job correctly.
I have successfully converted many other movies using this same process, but this one doesn't want to work for some reason. Does anyone have any suggestions?
