Hello and appoligies if this post is in the wrong place.

I have a number of transport streams with more than one video and and audio track/stream eg English and French. I want to remove the all but the main video and audio.
is there a program that is able to remove or delete them?

Many thanks for any help

Is the TS file AVC, or Mpeg 2? You might be able to use DGIndex, or DGAVCIndex.

TSRemux or TSMuxer

Thatnks for your replys the files are h264 and WVC1 with E-AC-3 audio tracks.

I have tried tsMuxeR. However i find that the remuxed files are not perfect copies of the origanals. There are parts where the image breaks up (multi coloured blocks) that are not there on the origanl files.

I have also tried to use tsremux but this will not load any of the files i try with it. it comes back withy an error. i can post the details if you feel it would help.

I was hoping that there was an app that could edit the origanal files so as to just remove the not needed audio and video streams.

If anyone has any suggestions on what i could or even how to get better results from tsMuxer i would be greatfull!

:thanks:

Hi!I was hoping that there was an app that could edit the origanal files so as to just remove the not needed audio and video streams. How about using the same software that you used to convert the original "original" source material to a TS file?

I used AnyDVDHD to rip them from HD-DVD's. As far as i can see from the dvd ripper there is no way of selecting the parts I want it just dumps the whole thing to the HDD.

I then deleted all but the main EVO files and, after much reading of this web site, they play perfect in MPC. Which is cool. But I wanted to try and fit all my HD-DVD's on my server and thus not have ot get off my fat ass when wanting to watch/flick through them. I still get a kick out of how good HD vids look :) and thus the need to save space. I mean if it comes to it ill just buy another HDD i they are not excactly expensive any more but i enjoy playing around with this stuff!

If you can sugest how to make AnyDVD rip selected parts of the films i am all eyes!

many thanks for your help

Glad to hear you've resolved your problem ;>} - But your explanation has confused me, so perhaps you'd be good enough to clarify:

The Subject of your initial post to this thread is "Help with TS files" and you state that "I have a number of transport streams with more than one video and and audio track/stream".

I suggested, "How about using the same software that you used to convert the original "original" source material to a TS file?"

Your response refers only to having used AnyDVD to make a backup copy of the HD-DVD - and retained only the "main EVO files".

What software and procedures did you use to convert the ".EVO" files to ".TS" files?
