Ok, this is fairly strange. When I play a Blu-Ray disc encoded in AVC (or stream encoded in AVC rather) I get the entire screen filled with green waves/blocks/etc with the occassional glimpse at the actual video. I figured maybe it was a codec problem so I uninstalled all my codecs and installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack just to be safe. Still the green blocks.
Here is the weird thing: if I play just the m2ts file I still get the green blocks. However, when I test that same m2ts file in Nero Showtime 3 - it works perfectly in that program. It seems the only program it isn't working in is PowerDVD 7.3 Ultra. I tried both version 7.3.3730 and 7.3.3319a with the same results - neither of them work, yet those same files work in other programs. The main reason I want PowerDVD to work is because with programs like Nero Showtime I can't view the entire Blu-Ray disc as structured - I can only view the files. Mainly I just want PowerDVD to check to make sure things are working properly before I burn to BD-R (since they cost a fortune.)
