Hy !

I have a sony hdv camcorder pal version, what can 1440*1080 50i mpeg2 video stream record.
My computer has an lcd monitor, what can refresh 60hz, with 1920*1200 resolution.
My problem:
When i play video maybe with media player classic, when i choose blend (what is in the auto setting) deinterlace, then play with 25fps, but this not liquid, littlebit jolt.

When i choose bob, then play 50fps,, the video is liquid, but i lost from video resolution.

How can i play, and pulldown video to play on lcd without quality loss?

Thanks for help.

Choosing blend vs bob in what? The mpeg-2 decoder? Since neither of them are good enough for you, look at your video card's deinterlacing (updating drivers is a good idea), or if that doesn't work, use ffdshow-tryouts' many deinterlacing options. It has a blend-bob (framerate doubler), which is fast and decent if you don't mind blending, or the nicer kernel bob.
