Hy all!
I think, I'am in trouble:
When i make the divx3 compressibility check from gknot using the 'now' button, everything is ok, it shows the correct %. But when i start nandub (from the gknot dir) and load the avs and start the check-process, after loading the stats file, gknot (0.20-0.23) shows me 4000 percent. How this is possible? Both encodings made with the same prog. Or gknot starts nandub with special switches? I want to make the comp.check manually bcz i have to make changes in the avs, but when i edit the avs file in gknot and say ok, it keeps the original settings.
And when i'm here, i write my other problem: when i start the divx4 encoding from gknot, it works, but with vdub (again from the gknot dir) it crashes with a message: unable to start video compression error: bad format (-2). What do you say for this?
Thx if u help me! :D

? - just open the avs in nandub and press f8. that's it.

Oh, i'm not so stupid :)
I know, how can i make a 1st pass.
The problem is, that when i start nandub not from gknot and make a compress-check, gknot gives me 4000%, but when i make it from gknot, everything is ok.
The divx4 thing: when the problem is around the codec, why gknot-vdub works? And i've already reinstalled divx4.
I think i will re-install the os.
But thx!

did you check your edited avs in wmp 6.4 or in nandub? what does it look like?

Hy wef!
Yes, i can see the movie both in wmp6.4 and nandub, vdub.
Yesterday i've uninstalled divx4 and divx3, then reinstalled just the divx3, but the things don't look different. But when i make a first pass from gknot, and then the 2nd from nandub, the final avi looks perfect (i wanna say, the problem is not codec-side).
And tried the 0.19 GKnot too - same (i've made some movies with that version - and now?). Maybe this is just by this film (??). I think, the fastest solution is format c: :), but if you have another idea...
(my english is far from understandable, dont eat me :D)

It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally i found the solution for both problems!
Now, its your turn, figure out, what is that!
OK, just kidding :)
The movie was 2.35 and i marked 4:3 in gknot and i saw, that is OK.
But it was'nt. The movie is really in 2.35 aspect ratio. Now Nandub works and DivX4&Vdub don't crashes! But how it can happen? Can you explain me, bcz i dont understand it.
Thx for the help!!!
