film runs too fast after encoding

hi,
got a problem here.
i copied a film on my hdd and after encoding with flask in divx4.12 and playing it runs too fast like in ffw mode.
things this also happens when i open the vob files on the hdd with lets say powerdvd. whats the reason?
for ripping i used smart ripper 2.41 and didnt change any settings compared to other, working movies.
any idea ?
