Hello to all. I am pulling my hair out over this so im hoping some one knows the answer to this.
The easy way to do this is tell you want i want to achieve.

I have a H264 file that is 4.37gb in size. I want to get this file and get it playing on my ps3 from a dvd but only in 1 file.
So far i can only get the movie to work if it is split into 2 (ie the file is not over 4gb) then burnt on nero in UDF 2.50 mode.

Now is there a way to get 1 mkv file onto 1 dvd that is under 4.7gb and shows up on the ps3.

I hope some one can help me with this as i have nearly no hair left and about 12 dvd costers now.... :eek:

Where did you get the MKV file that you are working with?

Sorry about that. I have only posted on this forum once before i think, so sorry about that.
I am very new to all this MKV conversion and MKV Pass-Through. I am use to dvd conversions from xvid to vob using The film Machine and CCE.

The file that i am using is a H264 profile in a mkv container.

ViDEO 1280 * 528 @ 5585 kbps
AUDiO 640 kbps AC3
RUNTiME ....: 100m32s
SiZE .......: 4478mb

I have used MKV2VOB but i am ending up with either 2 files or 1 file that is over 4.7gb and wont fit on a single dvd.
The file was downloaded from a well known site which i dont think we are allowed to discuss on here.
