I just got the GGW-H20L burner and am trying to back up one of my movies that I have - Spiderman 3. It is a dual layer and I am trying to get it burned on a single layer bd-r. I got it encoded to fit on the single layer disk just fine and the video looks great, but I have no audio at all. Here is what I did.

1 - Ripped to hard drive using anydvd HD.
2 - Used tsmuxer 1.2.6 to mux out the video stream only (m2ts format).
3 - Used tsmuxer 1.2.6 to mux out the True-HD audio, and AC3 audio streams(m2ts format).
4 - Used ripbot to re-encode the video stream to a smaller size.
5 - Loaded both my audio.m2ts and the new 00001.m2ts from ripbot into tsmuxer to get one m2ts file.
6 - Loaded the m2ts file from step 5 into tsRemux v0.0.20, chose the output format as blu-ray disk. (I tried leaving the true-hd audio in tact and using the convert to DTS option with the same result.
7 - Burned with Nero using UDF 2.5 onto BD-RE.
8 - Plays on computer and PS3 with no audio.

I have spent a ton of time reading and trying to figure out what I need to do, but I am stuck.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi!

(Trying to isolate the point at which the problem is created)

Did you check the ability to PLAY the audio after Step1 and after Step 3?

I have PowerDVD 7.3 Retail with the latest patch. If I play the 00011.m2ts file from the original rip I get no audio at all, but if I pick some of the other files (previews, extras) the audio plays fine.

If I play the audio.m2ts file from step 3, it plays the audio perfectly.

6 - Loaded the m2ts file from step 5 into tsRemux v0.0.20, chose the output format as blu-ray disk. (I tried leaving the true-hd audio in tact and using the convert to DTS option with the same result.

Uncheck "Bypass Audio Alignment" in TsRemux. Or you can avoid step 6 using TsMuxer instead of TsRemux.

I seem to be having a similar problem and am doing the following;

1. Rip Blu Ray using AnyDVD
2. Use TSremux to split out the DTS track
3. Compress the video using MeGui
4. Use MKVMerge to mux the audio and compressed video into a single MKv file
5. Play the file using MediaPlayer Classic or TCMP and there is a audio delay

How can I find out what the correct audio delay for this BluRay disc? New to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a very similar problem - I join a seamless branching movie m2ts's into one using TSSplitter or copy /b and then run it through TSRemux, which gives me a synced copy, which however skips at the join spots, so I run it through TSMuxer and I get an audio delay :( I've tried all kinds of combinations and I've run it more than once through both TSRemux and TSMuxer and I still get the delay - So, if you figure it out, PLEASE let me know...
