jpegs on cd-r disc, conversion app for dvd slide show?

I am new to digi photo and have some photos stored on cd-r and want to put them onto a dvd for older family members who donot own a computer to view.
The pics are jpeg format and I would like to do a Slide Show onto a Dvd??

Any suggested programs?? Or am I in a wrong forum for this query....format changes etc. really confuse me,

Do you have Nero (full or oem version)?
If not you can always use Windows Movie Maker and save it in DV-AVI format and then convert it to DVD using DVD Flick.
