how to bluray to x264 mkv file

i cant find any such guides , is there any such guide available for a beginner like to me to learn the bluray encoding ? :confused:

Method:

Rip
demux
re-encode to x264 (megui includes ready profiles)
re-mux to mkv (for AR and re-mux use mkvmerge gui)
