Hi all, I am having problems with some videos. the question is that I set on VirtualDub a bitrate of 1600 but the video resulting after encoding is a 700 kbps of bitrate video.

¿ What is a possible explanation? The diference is so much.

You should give some more information, especially about your detailed encoder settings.

Your quantizer settings may be too high. Therefore the encoder does not need that ammount of bitrate you have set.
