Hello. I'm using Avisynth to clean up an analog capture.
The capture source was laserdisc composite video, which was Y/C separated through a DVD recorder and output as YPbPr component video, then sent to a computer which digitized the YPbPr component video and compressed it with HuffYUV 2.1.1.
This made a very detailed, clean Y/C separated capture... I'd say 99% crawl and rainbow free.
Now I'm looking to filter out the remaining 1% for problem scenes with Avisynth. I've tried using Tcomb() and Dedot() but I can't get satisfactory results without a significant loss of picture detail. So I figured I'd post sample clips to the community here :)
As I wrote earlier, the crawl and rainbow scenes are only in a few shots, so I've posted two sample clips, one for dot crawl, and one for rainbowing.
The clips are 30 frames each, 720x480, 29.97i, YUY2, HuffYUV
2.1.1, stored as zip files.

I know that there are other issues in my capture besides crawl and rainbowing, but I'd like to focus only on crawl and rainbowing, since these must be eliminated prior to IVTC. All the other issues will be dealt with after IVTC.
