We could really use an encoding guide specifically for anime, as there are a couple aspects of this particular medium that aren't covered very well (if at all) in the other guides.
Most of these are related to encoding a series (rather than movies), like: ripping files so chapter points are maintained; combining multiple source files into a single output (easy in dgindex, not so much in oth), again trying to maintain chapter marks; extracting subtitles from multiple source files and encoding to a single output.
It could also include some handy tricks that are possible only because we're creating 2-4 output files from the same source (like using the same .avs for a whole series with only the file names changing).
If anybody knows of such a guide anywhere, could you please post the link? I'm sure more than a few people here would appreciate it.
