Hi, I have 1 Click DVD Copy 5;just got it and Any DVD...both the latest versions.

I know that I am to shut off CRX in 1 Click and use only Any DVD when I back up my Library of Music Concerts which I want to keep in their original cases and use the B/U to watch.

First I tried to use 1 Click Copy with the CRX and uncheck Any DVD bad sector enabled and at the beginning of the burn it keeps telling me that it detects Any Dvd even though I have disabled it and want to use Only 1 Click Dvd with the CRX???

When I uncheck the Any DVD for that reason it does not seem to get recognized that I did that inspite of the fact that the Red Fox in my Task Bar is now White???

What am I doing wrong???

I was told in another Forum that I could use the CRX feature of 1 Click as long as I disabled the "bad sectors" in Any DVD; however it does not seem to work this way and so I ask for instructions as to what I am doing wrong.
I have a library of Music concerts that I play when we have company over so that those that don't visit one another can watch something and I don't like the original DVD passed around as many of them are rare and so I use the b/u.
I really would appreciate your instructions on how to get this back up copy done with these 2 programs.
Before I used DVD 43 but was told it does not work anymore and so I bought Any DVD.
Thank you for your time.

Hi!

You posted about backing up (and having backed up) your "collection of baby boomer concert DVDs" in July 2007 - and received several responses back then. You appeared to already be aware of DVD Shrink, DVDFab Decrypter, AnyDVD.

Have you tried simply using DVD Shrink (set to either "No Compression" if you're going to burn to double-layer media, or "Automatic" if you're going to burn to single-layer media)?

Yes it has been since then that I have done any burning and now I am on a new notebook with 1 Click Copy 5 and Any Dvd.
I did the kids movies, at least some of them last fall and have mine to do 50 -60 and so wanted to use 1 Click Copy 5 that I bought, having had Any Dvd on the new computer anyway.
Nero I referred to in the past was on what is now the better half's computer.

The program that I would be using is 1 Click and I mentioned at the start of the thread the issues that I am having with it and Any Dvd since I gather the CRX conflicts with the one checked off feature of Any Dvd which I unchecked and still can't get 1 Click to work?
I don't have a lot of time to do these backups as my work keeps me busy and so I planned on doing these old concerts with 1 Click Copy.
I read my prior posts before starting this thread, however thought I should make my intentions more clearer.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to comments on these 2 programs and getting 1 Click to work properly.

No ideas on how to get the program to work with any dvd re its settings??? that is 1 Click Copy 5 which I have the CRX turned off on and it still has a problem with Any DVD latest vers on the computer???
I guess what I am wondering is if there have been changes since I last did the backups early last fall...this would be to either program??
Thank you for your time !

Sorry, but I'm personally not familiar with that software.

Perhaps another member will respond...

Yeah... I'd go with DVD Shrink + AnyDVD for simplicity, or something like DVD Rebuilder if you want a little more quality, a little more advanced...
