Hello everyone, I've been really excited about trying out Media Player Classic Home Cinema since I just upgraded my PC to an AMD X2 (dual processor) 5000+, 2 GB DDR2, ATI AIW 2006, and Windows XP x64 (I know, not the best system in the world, but it's a major step up from what I had), but I am having a problem.
Any type of video file I open in the player (I'm mostly interested in XviD and x264), it plays the audio, but the screen is black (no video whatsoever). I've tried installing xvid, ffdshow (first tried 64-bit then 32-bit editions) as well as Haali Media Splitter, but still had the same problem. I then uninstalled those and tried the K-Lite Codec pack, but still get the black screen. The regular 32-bit Media Player Classic plays everything just fine, but my system can't quite handle 1080p video with it, so I was hoping the 64-bit edition (Home Cinema) might do the trick.
I noticed that nothing appeared in my task tray (like ffdshow) when using the Home Cinema edition, but when I used the old 32-bit edition, 2-3 things opened up in my tray area. I dunno why that is.
Does anyone know what's going on?
