View Full Version : 2-episode DVD has 3 .VOB files

I can rip it just fine, but I can't figure out how to split or join the vobs into something more useful.
Fairuse sees just the first episode and completely ignores the second.
Autogk can't see video in the .vob files, and gives me errors parsing the .ifo files.
DVDShrink crashes.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi!
Trying to ask the same rules-violating question by omitting the "naughty bits" that caused your first question to be closed by the moderators is referred to as "trying to rewrite history":

I dug up the DVDs finally.

Hence the delay while I made things nice and legal.
The problem is still the same.

One of the moderators will probably jump in here in a minute and lock this thread, so I thought I'd explain briefly.
Yes, the DVD exists, but unless you can post a scan of your receipt for the vid, at this point we don't know where your copy came from, which puts your request into the Rule 6 territory of "questionable."
We're not trying to be mean, but we need to avoid potential lawsuits from the MPAA, who are crawling with expensive lawyers and we're not.
Perhaps the folks at Afterdawn.com can help you. They're based overseas and operate under a different legal system.
Sorry.
