Question: I will be needing to wipe and reformat my C: Drive, which contains my OS (XP). I have three other hard drives that contain important files, which I want to retain. In reformatting my C: drive, are there any possible problems in losing data or access to that data on those other drives while reformatting? Just want to cover any potential issues before I begin the process. thanks

if you encrypted the files using the NTFS encryption on the other drives you may loose access to them. otherwise... i think there's no problems

The drives were formatted in NTFS, but I did not encrypt the files. So it sounds like there shouldn't be a problem. Thanks
