Resize filter

Just need a bit of advice on resize filters.

I alwaysed used bilinear but iv been messing about with spline16nutral. Whats peoples opinions here on resize filtes?

Although it's true to use "what's best for your image," I've read that people prefer Spline36Resize to Spline64Resize, and that Spline is the way to go. Lanczos is nice, too, for sharpness.

Back in university, I implemented a raytracer for a graphics lab, along with some reconstruction filters. They're decently similar to what the resize filters do, and give some idea about the differences. Note that the re-sizing is down, as opposed to up.

Cubic B-spline resize. Not the same as Spline36, but maybe in the same family...?
