View Full Version : Struggling to demux m2ts

I'm trying to demux the VC-1 video and AC3 audio streams from an m2ts file. Elecard XMuxer Pro either doesn't work or runs so slowly as to be unusable. I left it running overnight and it had only reached about 20% progress!!

Xport works to a degree but I'm not sure which combination of numbers to use.

1 1 1 gave me nothing.
1 1 2 gave me audio.

Are there any tools that will just let me demux all the streams from an m2ts file?

Thanks.

Unfortunately I get the following error;

Getting "Video 1" Dump instance failed.

Post a link to a chunk of your M2TS file.

I have seen Elecard get slow like that. When it happens I close it, restart it, and make sure the output is set for a different physical drive than the input. That usually works.

How do I extract a chunk? How big a chunk do you need?

I've already tried it with different physical drives, no dice unfortunately :(

You must register dump.ax in your system!!! RipBot264 will do that for you at startup. You also need Haali Media Splitter

I've got Haali, the download link for RipBot isn't working just now :(
