dgindex demux to audio (Where's the file?)

i opened a vob with DGindex, and selected "File->Demux Audio Only"

Then a progress bar at the bottom of that window started moving, and it said FINISH after a while.

But i never specified where the file was supposed to go? Where is the audio file? fyi i chose (Audio -> Output Method -> Decode AC3 tracks to WAV)

Should be in the same folder as your original VOB file.

no, it is not there. I've tried the following

File->Save Project and Demux Video :
This will give me a m2v and an AC3
if I did NOT select Audio->Output Method->Decode AC3 to Wav

I've Tried File->Save Project and Demux Video:
Will give me JUST a m2v and NO wav when selecting
Audio->Output Method->Decode AC3 to Wav

I've Tried File->Demux Audio Only, which when clicked, will NOT present a Windows File Dialog Save Box and then DGindex will present a progress bar and then result in a finish.

It is very odd that I am given a Windows File Dialog Save Box when selecting File->Save Project and Demux Video
whereas selecting just Demux Audio Only does NOT present a File Dialog Save Box.

Hmm...I too have this issue it seems. Just on the "Decode AC3 to WAV" option. Not sure how DGIndex decodes the AC3, directshow maybe? Perhaps neuron2 can shed some light.

You can't use Demux Audio Only with Decode AC3 to WAV. Demux means demux, not decode. :)

If you have a problem with Save Project with Decode AC3 to WAV, make sure you have selected the required track with Select Track(s). Read the DGIndex users manual for details. If you still have a problem, post a link to the source stream so I can duplicate your issue.

DGIndex has an internal AC3 decoder.
