There seem to be many options if recoding dvds to be able to stream them to a Playstation 3 ...

But which way to go ?
I had high hopes but right now I'm pretty confused and a little bit tired (from reading through many threads and asking (wrong) questions) ...

I don't thinks that I'm the only person who whants to archive its dvds using h264 for video, preserving ac3/dts audio and be able to play that on a ps3...

Someone found a way which is usable for noobs like me ?

Got: vobs and ifos
Want: m2ts since ps3 doesn't play mp4-avc with ac3 audio ? Or does someone know another container ?

What I tried:
nero recode ... but it only gives mit mp4-avc with ac3, ps3 doesn't like that - found no way to remux it yet

What I could think of is:
- use AutoMKV and mkv2ts
- use MeGui (and mkv2ts)
- use ripbot ?

Which way did you go ? And why ?

I would also love to be able to keep chapters or vobsubs but I don't think thats possible...

i found ripbot264 to be the easiest yet.
