You are likely dealing with a DVD (probably a SONY release) containing a copy protection scheme ("ARccOS") that DVD Shrink, discontinued more than 2 years ago, cannot DIRECTLY process.

Instead of DVD Shrink, try the most recent version of any of the following:

DVD95Copy Pro (commercial)
AnyDVD (commercial)
DVDFabHD Decrypter (freeware)

Yep, Setarip's right. I've encountered that error many times. And every time, it annoys the heck out of me, since nothing else seems to have the level of customizability and ease of use as dvd decrypter. D*mn Sony and their microsoft-ish ways.
