I have 4 episodes of a TV Series that I want to put onto a single DVD with menus. They have all be edited and saved losslessly from Windows MCE dvr-ms to MPEG-2 in VideoReDo.

I was wondering, what is a good (read: most efficient/good quality) method to author these files to DVD. If possible i want it to be lossless. I know it can be done through ConvertXtoDVD and Nero Recode, but I want to use a more proffesional method (i.e. CCE encoding or equivelant) for a high quality transfer.

thank you!

It's a good rule!

If the files are already MPEG2, then they might be DVD compliant. If so, then QuEnc has a simple Authoring feature hidden in the advanced options. If not, then DVDforger, or FAVC will make them compliant with a high quality result.

The problem is, DVD compliant MPEG2 really doesn't allow for Lossless compression, though with the proper settings you can reach a very high quality.
