I have been using avidemux to edit divx5 video and output as a huffyuv AVI file i can play this in VLC but as soon as i load into FAVC and start hcenc encoding the preview window shows a complete greyed out output.
if i output around a short clip of 3-4 mb the output is fine but if the file is left at full size the problem appears.
I did find some posts about grey frames in avisynth forum but this was mentioned as being at the start and end of a file i updated my avisynth version to 2.5.8 alpha 2 but this problem still appears although if i do the same with virtualdub with same settings it outputs fine.
Could this be avidemux's file splitter having a problem with avisynth or is it something else.
