some clips delay audio with 3 sec(how to fix it)

I have some clips are delay audio with 3 sec.,what easy way to fix it?

1-xvid & divx
2-they are movies before is work ok but when recode with VirtualDub (fast mode) that happen.

Was your original source material commercial DVDs or something else? If something else, what is it and what software and procedures did you use to create it?

I downloaded movies but before i recode with VirtualDub they are playing without problem.
