May be we should recommend the donationware devs to say so in their sig or add :"Donations are very much appreciated", so that everytime a dev says , without any subliminal intention, "this has a potential " , we are not flooded with " I will donate " posts. May be those posts should be replaced by " I am allowing the dev to debit my account...".
If people intends to donate, just do it, and if they do not know how to do it, PM the dev. I do not want doom9 to look like cdfreaks everytime some ripper releases a new version (one page of "Thank you posts", almost every week) . Just donate on a private basis et let the dev thanking you publicly if he/she wishes to do so.
The world (that is my assumption!) do not care that you intend to do so!!

I propose that "I will donate if "= "the best of".
