Q Xvid versus CRF x264

Please someone might to say to me the equivalence between Q Xvid and CRF x264.

There is no such equivalence, but QP2 in Xvid is somewhat similar, very roughly to CRF18 in x264.

CRF x264 delivers a better looking result either way.

I generally encode in Xvid with a Q=3 I find the quality about equal to X264 with a crf=21 or crf=22.
