Just trying to pick this up as a I go along.
I'm looking to back-up the few HD DVD's I have to my PC for streaming to my PS3 and was wondering what are good settings to use in HCEnc?
The first rip I'm trying is the Chronicles of Riddick. I've muxed the two feature EVO's together to leave one EVO containing the main movie and a single audio track.
So I'm now looking to convert the VC-1 in this EVO to MPEG-2 and to be honest, I'm a bit bamboozled by all the options/settings available.
Because I'm streaming, there's no definitive size restriction although I'd like get a good balance between file size and quality.
Can you give me some pointers as to what settings to use, what they do, etc?
