Ad-hoc WLAN: Also for internet access?

Hi, I now have an ad-hoc WLAN between my Centrino laptop and my Xandros/Easy Mode Asus Eee PC to share files, stream music and print. I've not yet been able simultaneously to use my Huawei E220 HSDPA modem on both computers, which would spare me the purchase of a router. Any ideas or tips? Thx.

you can't use one modem for two or more devices at the same time


what you can do is enable internet connection sharing(properties menu of the modem)
and that'll let you use the net on both

a router is really a better idea though
