I have some audiobooks (legally got from Audible) which are in the .aa format (NB this is not a mistake they are *.AA NOT *.AAC )
I would like to convert them to MP3 files for listening to on my TomTom GPS on long trips.
Can anyone advise me both if and how this could be done.
Thanks ina advance for your help:thanks:

Hi thanks for the speedy response however can you help me on one thing;
1) I have Media Player 11 so thats fine
2) Windows media player filter. There is no mention of this on the Audible page the link sent me too only;
Audible manager
Audible download managers for i/pod and media player 11
" player for handhelds and Palm OS mobile phones
And Nero S/w
Have you any idea what is meant by windows media player filter? is it the Audible download manager for windows media player 11. does not seem likely as one is a download manager and the other is some form of filter?
Sorry if i am be a bit thick
Thanks again for your help

OK I am a bit thick and if I had read to the very bottom of the article I would have found the other reference to the location of the filter. Just shows you should not scan info but READ IT PROPERLY
sorry to have been a twit!!

So, in summarizing your last two posts, am I to understand that it's "mission accomplished"?
