I 11:20:51: Cleaning up C:\American Gangster\VTS_01_2.VOB ...
I 11:23:13: Cleaning up C:\American Gangster\VTS_01_3.VOB ...
I 11:26:37: Cleaning up C:\American Gangster\VTS_01_4.VOB ...
I 11:28:14: Cleaning up C:\American Gangster\VTS_01_5.VOB ...
I 11:28:14: Couldn't open C:\American Gangster\VTS_01_5.VOB for read/write
I 11:28:18: End of Full DVD VOB cleanup
I 11:28:18: VOB Cleanup done
I 11:28:31: Done

The rip and IFO Cleanup ran well. I tried this in Full DVD mode and I got similar errors. Can anybody please help? The company is Universal.

Hi!

The R1 version has no special or newer copy protection.

Try cleaning the disc and look for scratches.

You should be able to rip it using any ripping program - even good ol' DVD DEcrypter v.3.5.4 by itself. Try it.

If it still presents a problem, return it to the place of purchase in exchange for a new replacement...

I also have a problem with this dvd (GERMAN, 1 DVD edition). I ripped it using ripit4me without problems. But before I used the FABDecrypter 4.1.2.0 ending up in a smaller size than ripit4me. When using rebuilder on that source it failed. In other threads i heard that FabDecrypter not always produce proper ifo files. Anybody had the same problem?

Hi!

From what I've read elsewhere, you might try turning off the "Path Player" function...

Thanks for your advice, but pathplayer was definitely turned off. fabdecrypter and ripit4me- outputs also have different start- and end-sectors in pgcedit...
