Oh dear god no. They've gotta sort IE7 out before pushing this...

Sounds like it's playing catchup (again) to Firefox. I just hope it's more independent from the OS this time.

from what I've heard IE7 is a right off and IE8 is actually up to web standards...
only took what 20 years?

Thing is firefox doesn't work perfectly with many web pages either! Its one thing with the web browser being compliant, its the web sites that also have to conform to standards! (and programmes used to make those sites)
