I might be having the same problem. MP4box always crashes in the end leaving me with just audio. Does it say "mp4box is not responding" for you?.

Well, the newer beta is almost ready, with a lot of fixes on the mp4 creation.. (mp4box issues with subs were fixed, which could lead to empty mp4 files, and the mp4creator is now used as fallback encoder, instead of the main encoder in the previous beta).

I'll post a note here when it's released.

Just doing the last minute checks actually.. encoding several items (dts/ac3/aac) to mp4, m2ts, avchd to see where any issues occur. I just removed a DTS channel mapping issue, and put back DTS wav wrapping forward to the next version, but give it a few hours/day and it'll be up :)

23 Beta 7: New requirement : .NET 2.0 minimum for audio extraction.
Many fixes in subtitles, audio handling and transcoding.

Please let me know if things mess up somewhere.

Advise for PS3 users who mux to vob: Enable fast mux when you also perform a split on the file. Not doing so can result in an 'bad' file (yellow/green/blue noise with hints of movement) in about 1in 5 conversions.

For fast mux, you first need to enable 'mux to vob'. After that the safesync option becomes 'fast mux' option. (since safesync is not supported in mux to vob)

Hi there,
tested Gotsent 0.24b7 on Winxp32bit SP3. Used ac3filter 1.51 and aacencoder 1.3.3.0 for XBOX360 conversation. Two things:
The tool starts automaticly with the conversation when you put a file in it by drag and drop. First i thought my pc hangs up till i found the dos window of mkvmerge. Would be easier if the tool waits for my klick on convert ;-).
Second thing: I set the options of ac3filter exactly like in your screenshots (dolby prologicII, gain, DRC, Outputformat) and got only a "white noise" sound. That doesn't happen with outputformat PCM16bit.
So is PCM24bit correct for the aac encoder?

But the tool works perfect now for me, thanks a lot.

P.S. Isn't there a way to cheat the xbox360 to decode ac3 format?

Hello Sentry, I made several conversions with your tool but some movies have sync issues (Audio is late).

How can I fix it?

Is there a video editor to manually correct that? I tried virtual dub but is says not supported format :(

Subtitle options seems to do nothing.

The subtitle .srt file is in same folder as video.

In fact, GotSent sees it just fine, embed sub option is checked.

Yet after the conversion completes, no subtitles.

Trying again right now, so I can paste log file here.

I'm using default install, so not sure about the errors above.

The font file does exist and I can open it and it displays just fine.

OK it worked better this time.

Subtitles were processed, but very badly. It shows 12 of them (the first 12 as found in the .srt file) at the same time on the screen for the entire movie.

Update: OK. Converted .srt to ANSI with windows endings and it works great now. :)

Surely I have something wrong because all that happens is the program opens. Also I did set the output path and the source .mkv folder just for good measure once before trying this. I can see the changes reflected in the GOTSent.conf but still get nothing. The command I'm using is as follows:

Can you try to write the path or filename with quotes, like this ?
