It's been a while since I've put a DVD on my HD but I have one I want to do this with.

I was using dvddecrypter but that was ages ago, so what is a good method of dumping the complete files from a dvd to my hd and then burn again to a dvd-dl disk. I don't want to compress the original files to a single layer dvd-r.

Thanks.

DVDFab HD Decrypter is a decent one. http://dvdidle.com/download/FreeDVD.exe

DVD Decrypter still works fine for regular DVDs. I only have four discs with which it has problems because of corrupt DVD structures. If you think you have one of these then you can use RipIt4Me.

I use dvd-shrink for most everything. When that won't cut it, I switch to dvd-decrypter, and then (when that doesn't work, either) anydvd.

If you don't want to cut it down, you can change target disc size to that of a dual-layer.
