Ok, So I converted my MKV file to an VOB file...

It will only play like an hour of the movie playing the VOB file...

and ive seen numerous ones i have only have 4,194,302 kbs...

Is there a way I can fix then since I don't plan on burning it to a DVD-R?

Hi!Is there a way I can fix then since I don't plan on burning it to a DVD-R?If that's the case, why are you bothering to try to convert the .MKV file you created to .VOB format?

To play on the PS3...

Or is MKV now supported on the PS3?

To play on the PS3...Then simply make a backup from your original DVD...

Then simply make a backup from your original DVD...

That means make another VOB file or have the MKV file backed up?

That means make another VOB file or have the MKV file backed up?That means ignore the .MKV that you made from your original, commercial DVD and simply make a one-.VOB backup of the combined movie .VOBs that are on the DVD...

BTW - Why did you make an .MKV from the DVD, if you need a .VOB for playback on your PS3?

Well I downloaded this movie..You might want to RE-read the "Announcement" at the top of the "Newbies" sub-forum, as well as all of the Forum Rules (particularly #6) - especially since any member providing assistance here might also be "struck"...
