Choppy Audio and video in .ts file with cyberlink powerdvd

I'm having some problems playing back HD transport stream files on my computer, and I've been searching google for a couple days now finding nothing but useless information and non-relavent web pages. I ripped the spiderman 3 Blu-ray disc to my computer and when I load it up in PowerDVD I get, at first, smoothe video and smoothe sound, but not even 5 seconds in I start hearing popping and cracking/jumping in the sound and later on, the video joins in (although the video is very discrete and kind of difficult to notice unless something on the screen is moving at a fast pace). I've tried playing it in media player classic with CoreAVC and when I do that, I notice only faint popping noises in the audio that are far and few between and completely different from what I was hearing in powerdvd. I'm at a complete loss here, I don't have any other Blu-ray movies I can rip and try at the moment, and I can't just try playing the movie from the disc since my display isn't HDCP compatible (which is why I had to rip it to watch it). I also tried playing a regular DVD in PowerDVD and it worked fine with no problems what-so-ever. I've no clue what could be the cause, only that I think it has something to do with powerdvd, but that's about it :\ and I'm not eve 100% sure about that, it could be my display driver or somethign as well. I can only rule one thing out for sure and that's my sound card. The reason I can rule this out is because before I got my Auzen x-fi sound card, I was watching the same .ts file on powerdvd with my old sound card and it was making the same noises. I thought these noises would go away once my new sound card arrived, and since they didn't, the sound card obviously has nothing to do with this. Any ideas, hints, clues, links are greatly appreciated.

I forgot to note, it's windows MCE 2005 that I'm using. I've also tried Nero showtime as well as winDvd platinum. On all three applications I checked hardware decoding under the video tab but cyberlink is the only application using hardware decoding. The other two applications shoot my CPU usage up to 80-99% where as cyberlinks CPU usage is very low, usually below 10%. The performance with all three apps are different as well. With cyberlink it's constant breaking and stuttering, with showtime it's a very annoying .5 second-ish pause every 5-15 seconds or so, and I believe windvd was similar to nero showtime, but I've forgotten and have since un-installed the program with no intentions of re-installing it.

I recently got my hands on another blu-ray movie (well not recently, but I've been to lazy to rip it until recently) and it performs the same. I should also note standard DVDs play perfectly, it's just .ts files that I seam to be having problems with. So the score is 2 pitches, 2 misses. I can try another blu-ray movie, but I think that would just be redudant.

2) What is the brand and model number of your BluRay drive?

3) What is the Title of your second purchased BluRay disc?

BTW - You may actually be able to play your purchased BluRay discs on your system. have you tried to play them? As posted at another forum:If you have a supported video card but no HDCP connection to your monitor, in versions 6.5, 7.1 - 7.3 it will enforce 540p playback even if ICT is not set on the disk
