CAN'T play EVO files from hdd (but CAN from hd-dvd rom)

Hi,

I have a weird problem with hd video. I have a laptop with hd-dvd rom, and video works fine when I play hd-dvd from the rom. However, I backed up some hd-dvds using www.backuphddvd.net, it backed up the files, but I CANNOT play them.

I have Vista 64 bit with powerdvd ultra 7.3.35.16.0. I have manually associated the EVO files with powerdvd, but it just opens the main powerdvd screen and nothing happens further.

Also tried VLC - no go.

Any thoughts?
