A03 firmware 1.68 for doesn't work on xp

i tried to install pioneer dvd-rw newest firmware on xp but it always gives me an error. please help

Download the attached file (ao3.zip). Unpack the contents to a directory and copy the file R3100101.168 (from the 1.68 update) to the same directory. Run upgr3asp.exe, it should default to the file R3100101.168, select start. Read the readme.txt for more into.

Use this at your own risk. It worked for me

i tried your method but it didn't work. it said wrong firmware, use firmware for sony.

The first box on your screen says "Drive to be updated", make sure that you select Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-103 (or DVR-A03).
