The info field reports the value of the aspect_ratio_information field, but its interpretation depends on whether a sequence_display_extension is present or not, and DGIndex currently does not show that. I will enhance DGIndex in 1.5.0 RC3 to give enough information to infer the SAR.

May I suggest that this enhanced information also show up in the command line "Info" output?

Yes, of course. As it is added to the Info dialog, it will also appear in the log.

Until DGIndex 1.5.0 RC3 comes out, what about ProjectX?

Neuron2 ,

Currently I am using DG Index 1.5. Is there any way I can use these current version of DG index to find existence of Non-Square pixel Aspect Ratio in the Mpeg Video.

Thanks

Please wait a few hours. I am going to post RC3 tonight. Thank you.

OK, RC3 is available.

There is now enough information displayed in the Info dialog to determine the sample aspect ratio by consulting the description in section 6.3.3 of the MPEG2 video specification.

If you are having trouble interpreting the spec, please post a capture of your Info dialog and I will explain how to do it.
