G'day everyone, Doom9 is still a great forum!

I have PAL footage that I have converted to progressive NTSC (720 x 480, 29.97fps) using After Effects and Twixtor. If anyone out there wants to know how this is done just get in touch. (The reason I exported to progressive was that it was going to take about 1/3 the time of exporting to interlaced and I have a time critical project - and even then it took 17 hours!!).

Where do I go from here to create a DVD which will play in U.S. DVD players? Specifically, are there any particular settings I need to be aware of - I have CinemaCraft and Adobe Encore.

Regards,

JK

convertxtoDVD or Nero 8 - both suitable

Thanks musicman. Will both of those programs intelligently deal with progressive video, as opposed to interlaced? I read the instruction manual for ConvertXtoDVD and there is no info on how it does this.

progressive vs interlaced should not be an issue with any authoring application.
