Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to take a mkv file that is 1920x816p and put it onto a blu ray disc. When I put the mkv into tsremux all I get is a black screen and audio. If I dumux the mkv and then run the h264 through h264info, the video stutters. I've tried running it through tmpgxpress and making it into a wmv but then tsmux won't accept the file. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?

BluRay requires 1920x1080 or 1280x720! Otherwise rest of lines will be replaced by green bar. New version of my app will help you to add missing lines. Your mkv has been encoded with to many ref frames. It means that you have to re-encode mkv.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just started your app this morning before I left for work. Do you recommend certain settings? The video is 1920x816p 25fps pal.

Thanks

As the matter of fact wait for 1.8.11 because current version has bug in m2ts (bluray structure) size calculation. Should be ready by tomorrow.

does your app do the blu-ray structure? or we still need to remux to blu-ray?

From the looks of it, it puts the file into m2ts. You would still have to use tsremux.

Hey atak,

it won't let me put a resolution of 1080p. The closest ones it gives me are 1072 or 1088.
