(I am aware that the HD-DVD format is "dead")

What PC software players (specific version numbers, if applicable, please) have been determined to properly playback HD-DVDs from a directly connected XBox360 HD-DVD player?

The newest PowerDVD is the best bet I guess, unfortunately.

Just to clarify and be sure you're aware, the 360 HD-DVD Player is just a HD-DVD Drive, that's it. Nothing special about it, it's just a dumb drive. So any software should work.
