im converting my hd backups to divx in vdub mod.

anywayz i've got to the 3rd part of my movie the first 2 parts converted fine - all plays fine all in sync, all perfect.

3rd part wont even open in vdub, throws out wierd error on opening avs file:-

unhandled win32 exception, virtualdubmod.exe[2592]

avs file contains: -

DirectShowSource("disk3.ts", fps=23.976, convertfps=true)

theres no change in the source video or audio types and sampe rates etc, so i dont know whats causing this.

p.s. also run the file through "mpeg2repair" this didnt detect any errors in the file either.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Or any programs to put the .ts file into to look for errors mpeg2repair might of missed?

Re-encode from the original source disk. Why and how did you make .ts backups?

re-encoding them because its for a standalone media player, its got a big HD on it.

Wont to re-encode to divx6 will play that fine but not .ts files.
so i can put the hd film collection all on 1 box each film as 1 file and play away.

I'll try re-riping the ts file.
