Rambus is far from dead, it's dead in the PC market, not so in embedded space and other industrial fields

Not necessarily powerful, but large ... don't look at these modules if you want DDR2-1066. What I'd love is a PC which supported both say 4 GB of fast DDR2 and 16+ GB of slow DDR2.
