Tell me a good AVI Cutter (free one)

Hi everyone, i am looking for a good AVI Cutter, where i can simply load my avi files and cut off selected portions of the avi and save them as small avi files. I am looking for software which does this with a Preview window and also it should not decompress the file, it should directly transfer the selected portion without altering quality etc. If some one knows such a software, please let me know. :helpful:

download the newest build date. unzip to a folder. run the avidemux2_gtk.exe file

like setarip_old said use Virtual Dub, just make sure you use Direct Stream Copy, so the file doesn't get reencoded.
