Hello, thanx for reading.

Two questions.
1) I have followed the Gknot guide and successfully converted many movies. There's a random dvd title that when I go through the same process of AVI2DVD as all the other conversions I did, successfully completes that, but when fed into Gknot, it displays only 4000 (~4 minutes) or so frames of the otherwise ~120minute film. The source vob's play fine, and seem to be the same "format" as the other rips I did.

2) I follow the Gknot guide, when it comes to calculate frame-overhead, do I simply use 1x vbr-mp3? I'm a little confused as to which to choose. The audio is ripped by the later section of the guide when adding jobs, and for the audio source file, I simply select the file made by AVI2DVD previously. I pick mp3, 128kBit/sec. average bitrate. And if I do that, do I choose 1x vbr-mp3 when it was being used to calculate frame-overhead?

Thank you all so much,
Sam:)

just check to make usre you added all the vobs in the folder to dvd2avi and resave the project. you can also tell smartripper to use max filesize, and you will never have to miss a vob because of missed vobs again.

gknot uses abr encoding by default in lame, so if you are only putting one audio track into the movie, then select 1x vbr mp3
