Well first of all id like to say damn this is a nice program. Everything in one!!!!

Now my problem.
I get my completed movie, and the sounds great, the picture is only ok though. The quality looks kinda like I ripped it off a vhs tape. Now any ideas what can be causing this.

Heres a couple ideas I had that could be the cause
Resizing
(1)Select Output Resolution
(2)VCD
(3)SVCD

I always leave it on the default which is (1)

Secondly the Resizing Filter:
I have chosen Soft Bicubic and Netural Bicubic

Thanks in advaced for your help

You'd probably get better advice if you posted logs so that theWEF and others could see what you did. I can't read them, but they can.

I could conjecture....

You might have poor quality settings in your player. Windows Media Player, for example, has two settings that can impact quality on the performance tab. There's a setting for fullscreen mode performance, plus a setting for quality of DV in a window. Push the slider towards "small" for improved quality. This is fast and easy to fix compared to re-encoding...

You might have chosen a poor resizing filter. Many here seem to prefer Sharp Bicubic to the others.

You might have chosen a poor size or bit/(pixel frame) estimation. Compressability Checking could improve things.

You might have even set "end credits" at the beginning of your encoding... That would make the entire film look crappy. :o
